Strand by Strand is a hotbox method, which is a natural resin wax like
substance.
It is heated to a low temperature and attached to the hair on the
head. It is durable, sometimes it can be damaging and can look like real grown
hair.
If some damage occurs, removal is a bit tricky.
Strand by Strand, on full
heads of hair is typically around $800-1000+ includes the hair and takes from 2 to 4
hours.

Cinderella is a method of Strand by Strand.
It is a company that produces
natural human hair with pre-fused tips that are warmed up with a machine and attached
to the existing hair.
It only encompasses the hair with a sheath of resin natural product, it requires
no tension and the removal is far easier than the Mega Tip hotbox.
This is more expensive because the hair is purchased from the company and is a
wonderful texture.
Perhaps the best method, I believe for resin strand by strand.
The Cinderella method is usually $650 plus the cost of hair, this takes 2 to 3
hours.

Pinch braids were learned from a system by Hair Police.
This is a way of
securing fake hair to real hair, strand without glues or fixatives. It is held
in with a tight braid with a secret strand of thread.
No foreign product sticks
to the hair, they are really tight and grow out like hair, color can be added
when they grow out in 2 - 4 months, you can often reuse the hair to reattach.
They can create full heads of natural hair, yards of synthetic dread extensions
or braids with out any damage.

These are creations I have done.
I get to use a lot of bright colors here. We are fortunate to work
with Wella Colleton hair color. I do mostly bread and butter work like long
blond highlights, but these are some of the cool brighter colors. Most are a color
called SPECIAL EFFECTS and the base colors are Wella, so enjoy.
